FAQ — Results, Troubleshooting & Care

Who is Inhale for?

Everyone who wants easier breathing. If you snore, wake up with a dry mouth, struggle to sleep, or want better breathing during workouts, Inhale can help. People with allergies, congestion, or a deviated septum also tell us it makes a big difference. If you have a medical condition, talk with your doctor first.

How does it work?

Nothing goes inside your nose. Inhale is a soft, reusable band that sits on the outside of your nose. Small tabs stick to your skin above each nostril. The band connects to the tabs with magnets and gently lifts your nostrils open, so air can move in and out more easily.

Why magnets?

Magnets let the band “float” on your nose without heavy glue or pressure. That means better airflow, steady hold, and less skin irritation.

Will it help with snoring and sleep?

Many customers report quieter nights and deeper sleep when they keep their nose open with Inhale. Nasal breathing can also reduce mouth-breathing and morning dry mouth. Results vary by person; if you have sleep apnea or use a CPAP, ask your doctor before changing anything.

What about workouts?

Absolutely. Nose breathing can help you absorb oxygen, lower heart rate, and stay calm during effort. Inhale was designed for daily use and training. It stays secure during runs, gym sessions, and most sports. For contact sports or water sports, remove the band for safety.

Why nasal breathing?

Breathing through your nose filters, warms, and humidifies air. It also helps your body use oxygen better. Many people struggle to nose-breathe when they push hard—your nostrils can collapse a little. Inhale keeps them gently open so you can breathe deeply without forcing it.

Inhale vs. nasal strips
  • Stays put: our tabs use skin-friendly adhesive and the band stays connected with magnets—less sliding or peeling.
  • Opens wider: the band holds your nostrils open more consistently than thin plastic strips.
  • Kinder to skin: minimal adhesive on a small area; no harsh glue across the bridge of your nose.
  • Reusable: the band is reusable; just replace the tabs.
Is it comfortable?

Yes. The band is low-profile and flexible. Most people forget they’re wearing it after a few minutes. If you feel pressure, re-position the tabs slightly higher or try a lighter tension.

Will it fall off at night or when I sweat?

It’s built to stay put through sleep, heat, and sweat. Clean, dry skin is key. Wipe your nose before applying. Press each tab for 5–10 seconds to set the adhesive.

Is it safe?
  • Skin: tabs are hypoallergenic and latex-free. If you have very sensitive skin, patch-test on your forearm first.
  • Magnets: keep away from pacemakers, ICDs, insulin pumps, and other medical implants. If you have any implant or medical device, ask your doctor before use. Keep away from magnetic-stripe cards and small children.
  • Medical advice: Inhale is not a medical device or treatment. Don’t stop using any doctor-prescribed therapy (like CPAP) without your doctor’s approval.
Can I use Inhale with CPAP or mouth tape?

Many customers use Inhale with CPAP to make nasal breathing easier. Some also pair it with mouth tape. If you use CPAP or have sleep apnea, follow your doctor’s guidance.

How do I choose the right size?

Start with our Starter Kit which includes multiple band sizes (or an adjustable band, if offered). Most people find their fit on night one. The band should feel snug but never painful.

How long do the tabs last?

Tabs are single-use. Use a fresh pair each night or each workout session. The band is reusable—wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry.

Can I wear it with makeup or facial hair?
  • Makeup: apply tabs to clean skin first; add makeup around them after if needed.
  • Facial hair: short stubble is fine. Very thick hair where tabs sit can reduce hold.
Any color options?

We currently offer Black and White. More colors are planned—join our email list to get first access.

Why does it cost more than disposable strips?

Disposable strips are single-use and rely on strong glue. Inhale includes a reusable band, precise fit, and gentle tabs. Over time, the cost per night is competitive, and the comfort and airflow are better for most users.

How do I clean and store it?

Wipe the band with a soft cloth and mild soap if needed. Let it air-dry. Keep magnets away from electronics and store in the case that came with your kit.

What’s your guarantee?

Try Inhale for 30 days. If you’re not happy, contact support for a refund on your Starter Kit. (Returns exclude used tabs and shipping; see our policy page for full details.)

Who shouldn’t use Inhale?

Do not use if you have medical implants affected by magnets, an active skin infection on the nose, or open wounds where tabs sit. Children should use only with adult supervision.

How long does it take to work?

Give your body a little time.

Exercise

  • Most people feel a change after 3–4 full workouts using Inhale.
  • Start easy: warm-ups nose-only, then add longer sets each workout.
  • Keep the band snug, not tight. If it pinches, move the tabs slightly higher.

Sleep

  • Some feel relief the first night. Others need 7–14 nights to adjust.
  • Tips: clean skin before bed, try side sleeping, avoid alcohol late, and keep your room cool.
  • If your nose is stuffy, use a gentle rinse or shower steam before applying.
I’m still snoring, what should I do?

Work through these quick checks:

  • Use Inhale every night for 2 weeks. Your body may be switching from mouth to nose breathing.
  • Size: try the next size up or down.
  • Tabs: place just above each nostril, then press 10–15 seconds to set.
  • Keep the mouth relaxed/closed
  • Try a soft jaw strap or mouth tape only if safe for you.
  • Avoid back sleeping and late alcohol.
  • Allergies, reflux, a low pillow angle, or a cold can all make snoring worse. If it continues, talk with a sleep-trained clinician. If you use CPAP, you can use Inhale as a helper—but don’t change your therapy without your doctor’s OK.
Tabs won’t stick, help!

Prep is everything.

Before you apply

  • Double-clean the skin where tabs go:
  • Oil-free face wash → rinse, pat dry.
  • Alcohol wipe → let dry 60 sec.
  • Avoid sunscreen, moisturizers, makeup, retinoids under the tabs.
  • If you’re sweaty, apply 15–30 min before bed so skin is fully dry.

Apply

  • Place tabs just above each nostril on flat skin (not the curve).
  • Press each tab 10–15 sec.
  • Attach the band. It should feel secure but comfortable.

Remove

  1. Peel off tabs slowly.
  2. Use a water wipe or micellar water to remove residue.
  3. Cleanse skin; then moisturize after removal.

Pro tips

  • Store tabs sealed, in a cool, dry spot.
  • Very oily skin? A small dusting of oil-control toner (alcohol-free) after cleansing can help—let it dry fully before applying.
  • Thick facial hair where tabs sit will reduce hold.
I feel discomfort or skin irritation—what now?
  • Stop use for 24–48 hours and let skin rest.
  • Next time, move tabs a few millimeters, or try a lighter tension/size.
  • Patch-test a tab on your forearm for 15 minutes if you have sensitive skin.
  • If redness, pain, or rash returns, discontinue and contact your doctor.
How long do the tabs and band last?
  • Tabs: single-use. Use a fresh pair each night or workout.
  • Band: reusable. Replace when it shows wear or if the connection feels loose (most customers get 3–6 months of nightly use).
  • Shelf life (unopened tabs): 24 months from manufacture.
  • After opening a tab pack, use within 30 days for best adhesion.

Storage

  • Keep sealed in a cool, dry place, away from heat and sunlight.
